  28.      Blacks Editor is a powerful, user-friendly, very configurable text
  29.      editor.
  30.  
  31.        The main features are:

  33.        * Multi-window. You can have how many opened windows as your memory
  34.          lets.
  35.  
  36.        * Configurability. You can define the layout of the menus, the
  37.          function of every keystroke, the function of every kind of mouse
  38.          click. Moreover, each window can have different definitions.

  40.        * A lot of preferences. They are too many to list here... give BED a
  41.          try and see them.

  43.        * SAS C Support. You can easily arrange it for any other compiler or
  44.          language.
  45.  
  46.        * Backup. When you save a file, a number of backups can be
  47.          maintained.

  49.        * Autosave. Your files can be automatically saved at the interval
  50.          you select.

  52.        * Advanced Icon Saving. An icon san be saved, according to the
  53.          filename extension of your file.

  55.        * End of Line Handling. You can easily load or save files with EOL
  56.          different from LF, for example files saved on PCs.
